Insurance Information

Orthodontic Coverage.
 
It is important to us that the quality of our business services matches the quality of our orthodontic treatment.  We want the insurance process, from the start to finish, to be perceived as an extension of the orthodontic care we provide you and your family.  We want to provide you with the best possible treatment and service.
 
 
Before Treatment.
 
When you call our office for the first time, please provide us with the name of your insurance carrier. Before your first visit we will contact your insurance carrier and determine if they cover orthodontic treatment, and if so, what the maximums and limitations are. We will make every effort to provide you with this estimation at your initial visit.
 
 
During Treatment.
 

Our role is to file an insurance claim with your carrier in a timely manner following placement of appliances. This generally occurs within one week.  It is our responsibility to insure that payment begins and that the estimate of total payment to be received correlates to our approximation.

 
 

Your role requires understanding that the balance of your account is your responsibility if your insurance does not pay at all, or does not pay as expected.  If your insurance company does not pay your claim within 6 months, the balance will be transferred to your account. New payment options may be considered to incorporate this amount into your monthly draft if desired.
